Wow, I past this family on the bike-way at west 30th street this morning.I had to turn around and get a few pictures.I don’t know where they’re from and didn’t want to start asking a million questions,so I just took a few pictures for you guys! They were waiting and waiting and waiting to cross.
They thought there’d be a bicycle signal!

Wow…The East River Bikeway is great. We needed to find some space in NYC to hit baseballs around for a school science experiment.I thought we should try the East-side, so off we went on our first family bike ride of the season.
After the congestion and all the new rules and regulations of Battery Park City this was like we found GOLD!

Runners were all over downtown sporting their Marathon Medals. I asked the group sitting on the bench(above) how they liked Running NYC for the day. Seems they are not that fond of entering Manhattan…. Brooklyn is King!

Good use of a car in NYC
Midtown traffic continues to be an absolute NIGHTMARE especially on the east side. What happened to that incredible Don’t Block the Box campaign? Is it possible drivers read it WRONG and are doing the best they can to BLOCK the BOX? I sat through two GREEN lights before I was able to squezzzzze through!
Finally some Peace and quiet.
I know it may be hard to believe but the East Side Bike way is a great place to get away from it all!
