GOOD IDEA!

Losing his job in one of the worst job markets in recent memory just meant Ian Richie had to think outside of the (lunch) box. He began by delivering homemade soup to friends using his cargo bicycle and cooler and has added customers every week. The name of his business is SoupByCycle. Pedaling while Peddling Soup Ian has created…

Horrible Day in Cycling

Just a Horror… Horrible.

Seven cyclists killed in Italy crash

Seven amateur cyclists out for a morning ride were killed yesterday near Lamezia Terme in Calabria when they were hit head-on by an oncoming car that had misjudged an overtaking maneuver. Initial reports suggest that the car, a powerful Mercedes driven by 21-year-old Chafik Elktrani, went out of control while traveling at high speed.

Human Power is Going to the Dogs?

Who let the dogs out,,ruf, ruff ,rufff ,rufffff…..!

I’d rather see this out on the Hudson River Bikeway instead of cyclists that ride with dogs on 6ft foot leashes ! The electric bikes are great and all but they are driving me nuts too,
here’s a great solution.

THE FIRST DOG PULLED DEVICES WHICH PLACE THE DOG/DOGS BEHIND A STEERING WHEEL !
THUS GIVING THE RIDER PRECISION STEERING CONTROL OF THE DOG W/ NO COMMANDS NECESSARY.
THEREFORE EASY TO RIDE, SAFE, AND APPROPRIATE FOR THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT.
VIRTUALLY NO DOG TRAINING IS REQUIRED. THUS MAKING DOG MUSHING ACCESSIBLE TO MOST BREEDS, AGE OF RIDER, LOCATION AND SEASON.

Cross training for dog sports !

Unlimited dog exercise under excellent dog control

These rigs are much safer and more practical than any “dog out front ” method of mushing for us urban dwellers.

Dear High Drive Dog Owners-
check out these new dog/human powered rigs !

Safe, fun and practical dog exercise tools.  and a whole new dog sport !
this is the first time anyone has placed a pulling animal BEHIND a steering wheel- that makes it safe and so easy- that makes it big news !

Move over and let Rover take over!

NOTE
Remember i don’t do bicycles- i don’t consider them an appropriate device to attach a dog to since the center of gravity is so high (so if an accident does happen it will be worse) and you can’t slow down to a dogs walk. and i don’t want to get sued.  and i also have no interest in the traditional “dog out front method” my stuff emphasis’s pulling/ mushing, safety, urban appropriate, dog control and all age usage.
thanks
mark

Wanting to sever his ties with the corporate world, a series of fortuitous events has Joe Reichert in a position he now loves — helping people get hooked on recumbent bicycles.

Very inspiring article..Wish I could join in his mission!
